CHANGING ON THE GO
If your team shoots the
puck in to the opposing team’s end and comes off for a
change, the first forward over the boards should hustle
across the ice and guard the far side. This prevents the
opposition from making a quick pass up the far boards.
They are forced to bring the puck up the middle on the
near side giving your linemates an opportunity to stop the
play and counter back.
