'POINT SHOTS'
Here are some things
to keep in mind when shooting the puck from the
point:
- Aim for the middle
of the net, a foot high or lower - this is best for
tips, screens and rebounds
- Practice releasing
the puck quickly
- Your shot must
miss the blocker
- Wrist shots should
be taken right away
- Sometimes a hard
pass to the side of the net is effective
