WINGERS - QUICK OUTS
Good teams move the
puck out of their defensive zone quickly. It is very
important for the wingers to 'post-up' quickly when
a teammate recovers the puck deep in your zone. The
winger should station himself two-thirds of the way
up the boards. His stick should be on the ice as a
target for an outlet pass. Getting available quickly
is the key to effective breakouts.
