When carrying the
puck thru the neutral zone, you should pass wide, if
possible, before or at the blueline. Then the wide
forward can work the puck back into the dangerous
slot area. This also enables the puck carrier to
drive thru the middle causing difficult decisions
for the opposing defencemen.
