You can contribute to
your team by being alert on the bench. Watch the
play closely! Note your opponent's weaknesses and
tendencies:
Examples:
1. a defenceman who has trouble turning to his right
2. a goalkeeper who has trouble with pucks put into
his crease
3. a tendency to make breakout passes up the middle
4. a faceoff play your opponents are using
Every team has several alert players who always seem
to know what happens on the ice. The best for the
Senators are Daniel Alfredsson and Jody Hull.
